Committed to Integrity in Every Aspect

Mission & Core Values

Mission
Atticus Integrity exists to help leaders do the right thing, the right way, with their people, money, and message. We provide independent HR, bookkeeping, and digital support that is practical, defensible, and deeply human, so organizations can make confident decisions and build workplaces worthy of trust.

Core Values

  1. Integrity over convenience
We tell the truth, surface risk, and recommend what is right even when it is uncomfortable or inconvenient.
Our commitments mean something; we do what we say we will do and own our outcomes.
  2. People first, always
We believe every policy, process, and spreadsheet impacts a real person.
We design solutions that balance business needs with dignity, fairness, and psychological safety.
  3. Clarity and simplicity
We cut through noise, jargon, and drama to deliver clear options, straight talk, and workable next steps.
If a leader or employee cannot understand or apply it, we refine it until they can.
  4. Courageous candor
We are willing to ask hard questions, challenge assumptions, and name issues others avoid.
We deliver feedback with respect, discretion, and a focus on better outcomes—not blame.
  5. Stewardship and accountability
We treat client resources—data, dollars, and decisions—as if they were our own.
We measure impact, learn from mistakes, and continuously improve our craft.
  6. Inclusive excellence
We build systems and cultures where different perspectives, identities, and experiences are invited and heard.
We help organizations move beyond performative DEI to everyday behaviors that create equitable opportunity and belonging.
  7. Quiet competence
We work behind the scenes with professionalism, preparation, and calm under pressure.
Our goal is not the spotlight, but stable operations, clean books, and workplaces that simply work.

Patrick McCullough
Principal & Founder of Atticus Integrity Group, LLC

About Patrick

Patrick McCullough is a people‑first HR executive and founder of Atticus Integrity Group, LLC, a Mississippi‑based firm that brings together outsourced bookkeeping, human resources, and marketing support for organizations that want to do the right thing the right way—with their people, their numbers, and their brand. He has over 15 years of multi-state, multi-site leadership experience across hospitality, healthcare, financial services, and real estate, where he has built high-impact HR functions, disciplined financial processes, and credible employer brands that align people strategy with growth, service, and profitability.

Patrick’s approach is grounded in community, stewardship, and relational accountability—treating every ledger entry, policy, and marketing asset as part of a larger story about trust.

Leadership Profile

Patrick’s career has been built at the intersection of HR, operations, finance, and communication. He has served as Vice President of Human Resources for a branded, full‑service hotel portfolio, Chief Human Resources Officer for a pharmaceutical manufacturer with joint responsibility for accounting and finance, Director of Human Resources for a unionized long‑term care facility, and Director of Provider Services & Revenue Cycle for a multi‑site dental support organization. In each role, he has been the person executives call when they need someone who can align people decisions, financial reality, and messaging into one coherent plan.

Colleagues and executives describe Patrick as calm under pressure, highly organized, and relentlessly dependable—someone who can design sound HR strategy, insist on clean financial processes, and still protect the organization’s reputation with thoughtful, consistent communication.

What He Is Known For

Patrick has developed a reputation for:

  • HR leadership – Designing and leading portfolio‑wide HR strategies, policies, and programs that drive engagement, reduce risk, and support sustainable growth.

  • Bookkeeping and financial operations – Owning or partnering on budgeting, payroll, revenue cycle, and accounting processes to ensure accurate books, clear reporting, and informed decision‑making.

  • Brand and marketing support – Shaping internal and external messaging, employer brand, and digital presence so that what organizations say about themselves is consistent with how they actually operate.

  • Culture‑forward change – Leading restructures, brand transitions, and culture initiatives that improve engagement, reduce turnover, and strengthen leadership capability.

  • Multi‑state compliance – Keeping organizations aligned with federal, state, local, and industry‑specific regulations and partnering closely with legal and compliance stakeholders.

  • Technology and data – Implementing and optimizing HR, financial, and learning systems so leaders have reliable data on their workforce, operations, and outcomes.

These capabilities underpin Atticus Integrity’s three service lines: Atticus Integrity Financial (bookkeeping and financial support), Atticus Integrity HR (outsourced HR and people strategy), and Atticus Integrity Marketing (web, domain, and email presence).

How Others Describe Working With Him

Supervisors, executives, and legal partners describe Patrick as a “can‑do” leader with exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a natural ability to collaborate across functions. They point to his ability to organize complex projects that touch HR, finance, and communications; anticipate issues before they surface; and coach leaders through difficult, high‑risk decisions. Overall recommendations emphasize he is:

  • Trusted and well liked, able to build rapport with frontline staff, managers, executives, and external partners.

  • Dependable and precise, producing accurate work in HR, financial, and operational domains while keeping projects on schedule.

  • A strategic partner who views HR, bookkeeping, and marketing as integrated levers for culture, performance, and long‑term enterprise value.

Why He Founded Atticus Integrity

Patrick founded Atticus Integrity to give owners, executives, and leaders a single, senior‑level partner who can see the whole picture—people, money, and message—without bureaucracy or spin. He carries a deep sense of responsibility to protect people, honor commitments, and leave things better than he found them, which informs how he structures engagements, designs controls, and communicates on behalf of clients.

Through Atticus Integrity Financial, Atticus Integrity HR, and Atticus Integrity Marketing, Patrick’s goal is simple: to be the quiet, competent ally in his clients’ corner—keeping the books clean, the people supported, and the story aligned—so they can lead with confidence and integrity.
